Hall's Apple Market, owned and operated by Chris and Kim Hall, is Brockville's Family Apple Orchard. Started in 1947 by Chris’s Dad, Kyle Hall and his Grandfather, Melville, the Hall's have been producing and harvesting apples and pears for three generations.

The Hall's grow over twenty different varieties of apples. The harvest season begins in mid July with Yellow Transparent apples. A few weeks later the Melba's, Jersey Macs and Paula Red apples are ripe and ready to pick. The fall apples start in September with the Lobo's, McIntosh and Cortland varieties. Winter apples are the last to be picked in late September and early October and they include such favourites as Spartans, Empire Northern Spy’s and Golden Russets. A new variety found at Hall’s is called Honeycrisp. Although widely planted the demand for these beauties outpace supply because of their unique sweet tart flavour and juicy crispness.

Inside their farm market you will find more than just apples. They have many unique gifts that make you want to browse. They have everything from baby gifts to teachers’ gifts, gourmet foods, decorative candles and distinctive prints. Despite the pleasure you will enjoy looking at all the wares it is the aroma from the bakery will welcome you to their store and tantalize your taste buds. Hall's Apple Market is famous for their homemade apple pies. In the bakery, Mrs. Hall has the family apple pie recipe perfected. She hand rolls the pastry and bakes hundreds of pies every month but each bite tastes as if it were made just for you. No one makes an apple pie taste homemade like Hall's Apple Market. (Except for your Mom of course!)

Hall's Apple Market has a great selection of other real fruit pies as well including wild blueberry, raspberry, peach and cherry. Other favourites such as their deep-dish apple crumble pie, their apple raspberry pie and their no sugar pie are served in several fine area restaurants. In the fall, mincemeat and pumpkin are in much demand. They also bake a selection of squares, muffins and apple cinnamon bread and another fall favorite are their candy apples.

Hall's Apple Market also has a wide selection of preserves like crabapple jelly, apple butter (with no added sugar) honey and apply syrup. Another well known product from Hall's Apple Market is their Sparkling Apple Cider. They have eight different fruit combinations, all non-alcoholic and no added sugar. Sparkling Cider is perfect for weddings and other occasions.... or no occasion at all.

Hall’s are open all year but plan to come pick your own apples from Labour Day through October and sip some fresh pressed sweet apple cider. Located just 3 kilometers east of Brockville, Halls Apple Market offers the best in freshness the country has to offer right in your own back yard. Taste the difference “local” makes.
